We Are Who We Are is a help group trying to create a social change. We are looking to support transgender youths in any way we can, as well as to eliminate the negative stigmas surrounding transgender youths.
The number of transgender youths is growing all the time, and all too often it is brushed off as "just a phase". Whilst sometimes, experimenting with gender can be "just a phase", it is important that when it is more than that, young people are taken seriously. That's where we come in.
As a community, we aim to support those who are looking for advice, provide answers to the multitude of questions you are sure to have as well as to just be there for you if you need someone to talk to. Our community exists of a wide variety of people that you can talk to, from counsellors and therapists, to other transgender youths and people who are going through/have been through what you're going through.
We Are Who We Are is here to celebrate every single person, regardless of gender, race or religion. Everyone is unique and everyone deserves to be accepted. We Are Who We Are is here to help make that happen.
